Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

After a few missteps–the fresh cranberries turned into cranberry soup and the cook burned his hand when he was basting the turkey–everything came together. The meal was perfect and we had a lovely celebration with our family and friends.

I know not everyone is as fortunate as we are, and I hope that we can work together to ensure everyone will be in a better place soon.

All the very best from our family to yours.

Susan

Susan: I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’ll share some more good music. This is from the band, Chicago, and was written by group member, James Pankow. It is Colour My World, and it was released in 1970. This is in my music collection.

Susan: Here is my second song pick. This song was written by Bill Backer, Roger Cook, Roger Greenaway, and Roquel Davis. It is I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing (In Perfect Harmony), from The New Seekers. The song was released in 1971.

The world today can seem like a hot mess, much like a Thanksgiving dinner about to go south. But it’s good to know it can all still come together. Thank you Susan for keeping up the good fight. Your words and blog are appreciated. All the Best!

Susan: Here is my final song pick. This is Peter Frampton performing his own song, Baby I Love Your Way, live on The Midnight Special, in 1975. He is only 25 years old here. He was previously in the groups The Herd, and in Humble Pie, in the 1960s and early 1970s.

Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours, Susan. Also to all who visit your blog:) Giving thanks for being lucky enough to live in Canada. Peace and order may be “boring” but given the alternatives I’ll vote for boring every time!

You too! It was. Some good news last week with Wab Kinew in Manitoba! Very nice, I am certainly thankful for that, heartening!

Carlos: This is the garbage that Peter Lougheed was warning us about.

Dwayne you are absolutely right. I have no words to understand what is it that people expect from this bunch of idiots. A machine can give you quickly the results of when you put garbage in. Very easy – triple garbage comes out. One does not have to be Einstein to understand what are the consequences of decrepit thinking. I am sure you have said it yourself many times – GARBAGE IN, MANURE OUT.

Only the geniuses we have as government these days think that they can cheat the fundamentals of life.

Here is another one for the pile of manure we have become.
Soon we run out of space for this garbage and of course then the UCP will be happy to see the NDP or others to come in and fix their irresponsible behaviour’s consequences.

We no longer have governments. We have parties having a party and we then clean up the mess. The problem is that we are still dealing with the crap left from 43 years of mismanagement and catching up is impossible. That is how failed states are created. We are just lucky that the rest of the world is worse.

I apologize but they just keep coming and I feel responsible to let other people know
Is this why we have governments and so called democracy? Well I personally do not want my tax money to be wasted on super rich corporations. Governments are to help its citizens.

I guess we will have to repeat this mantra until it makes sense – governments are to protect the country and its citizens. We do not pay taxes to feed fat pigs.
